My Beauty Challenge: Let’s get ready to rumble!

In the red corner: D, the Momma Bean’s Dark Spots
In the blue corner: Skin & Lab Dr. Vita Clinic “C”  Plus Brightening!
Who’s going to win or will get knocked down first?
Hello my Sweetjellybean readers! How are you all? Don’t worry, I’ve not gone cuckoo today, although if you saw how dark it was outside while I was writing this down yesterday, with the sun being MIA, you might actually lose your mojo. Anyway, I thought I’d introduce you to a new feature on this blog called ‘My Beauty Challenge Corner’ (hence the shenanigans with the blue and red… wait ’til you see the badge for this. LOL)

Grab this badge and do your own beauty challenge!

I’ll be trying out this product that kindly sent to me for review purposes. I had my eyes on this product when I first tried the samples from Skin & Lab – here. And I knew I just had to get my hands on it!
This beauty challenge means that I’ll be chronicling how my skin/ dark spots would improve, or in worst case scenario, NOT. As an introductory post of this challenge, I’ve included images of the product and one side of my face, where you’ll see some of my skin problems. Dark spots and humungous pores as big as peas! (ok, maybe not as big).
I must say, my skin was worst than this before, but when I switched to Korean brands and organic Western products, I have definitely seen some improvement. I used to be a fan of products that I could easily grab from my local Boots or drugstores because I hate waiting! But I’ve realised that ‘the grass is greener on the other side of the beauty world’ beauties, so I switched!
So now, I want to focus on these dark spots/uneven skin tone, and hopefully this product will be the answer, not only for me, but for you!
I will give an update every two weeks along with photos and basically find out how much cream will be used before these dark spots start fading or disappear!
Would this product join my HG (holy grail) products? You never know.

No make up.

Are you up for a ‘beauty challenge’? Why not join the fun and start to go head to head with your new found product you want to put to a test? Feel free to grab the badge and let’s link up together!

*Thank you to Kaye at Beautiful Kayekie for the inspiration. Check out her post — here.

    • 🙂 I know! I’ve been on and off the beauty wagon lately, with too many late nights, so it’s going to be a fight with this cream and my spots LOL. Oh, I think do have a C serum for Skin & Lab, I think. I just bought another product from this brand for dark circles! Can’t wait to receive it! xx

  1. Ooooh, I’m extremely interested to see the outcome of this!!!
Your skin pic could pretty much be a pic of mine! I’m on the search for brightener/pore perfecting HG item myself.
I’m going to be getting some great stuff from the new Asian beauty site Peach & Lily. Once I get the new stuff I hope to join in on the challenge!!!!

    • I’m excited, too! I love this cream, especially the feel and smell on my skin, but let’s see if it delivers ;-). Oh I heard about Peach & Lily, already following their blog hehe. I look forward to your challenge! xx

      • Actually I have, I still use it for my regular moisturiser (with a little boost at night) and will continue to buy more. I’m pretty happy with it.

I can’t wait to see your results, how exciting! I just posted a review for an at home microdermabrasion treatment I’ve tried and its AMAZING! If your interested in smooth skin I say definitely check it out! 🙂
